Band Pictures 25-26

We will be taking individual band pictures during class on Friday, November 14th. Students will put on their band uniform and take a picture with their instrument. The order form is below and I will also pass out an already printed form in class to all students.

Students need to have their order form already filled out and their payment in hand to give to the TexasGroupPhoto Representative on the day of the pictures.

Below is a link to our online order form.  Its very easy, parents do not have to create and account.  Its just like the paper form, but it allows for payment via credit card, debit, Apple pay, and Google pay.  It also provides the parent with a digital receipt via email.

Last Game , Friday, November 7th

Kempner Band Family,

Friendswood Stadium: 702 Greenbriar Dr, Friendswood, TX 77546

We have our Last Football Game Friday, November 7th at Friendswood Stadium at 7:00pm against Friendswood High School. We will sit on the Visitor side and perform to the Home side at Half Time. A full itinerary for Friday is listed below.  I hope that many of you can make it out to support our students. Report time is Immediately after school for Band Students.

Emergency Contact Information- All students must turn this in or they will not be allowed to travel with us and can’t go to the game.

Tickets- THERE WILL BE NO CASH SALES AT THE GATE. Tickets should be available on this website. Click the link; Tickets .

Dress: Full Uniform: Maroon Member Shirt, compression shorts(underneath), Bibbers, Band Jacket, Shako, long black socks, and marching shoes. We will take garment bags and hat boxes with us into the stadium. We will be in HALVES(No jackets or shakos) in the stands and change to full uniform just before halftime.

Equipment Needed: Instrument, flip folder with music, liar, water jug(pre-filled with ice-water). 

Meals- If you bought the meal plan- Sandwiches– cookie and drink

Dismissal- When we arrive back to school, we will not dismiss any students until all equipment has been put away and checked.

CLEAR BAG POLICY - Note FBISD has implemented a clear bag policy for all games at District sports facilities including Hall Stadium, Hopson Field House, Mercer Stadium, Wheeler Field House, Cook Natatorium, and Aquatic Practice Facility.

The following types of bags are permitted:

  • Clear, plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags that do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” in size

  • Clear, plastic, one-gallon, re-sealable, Ziploc-style bags

  • Clutch bags approximately the size of a hand (4½” x 6½” or smaller)

4:40 pm - Inspection
4:50 pm - Meeting
5:00 pm - Depart
6:15 pm - Arrive at Friendswood Stadium
7:00 pm - Kick-off
8:00 pm - Halftime performance!
9:30 pm - Game Ends
10:30 pm - Arrive at KHS
10:45 pm - Dismiss

Region Band Auditions 25-26

Students must pay $20 for all region auditions. Please pay online or bring cash/check and deposit in the band hall safe. Students must pay by the audition date in order to audition.

Please click the links and check that you are signed up on the correct audition on the correct instrument. Let me know immediately if changes need to be made.

Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from the audition location.

All students must fill out a contract and turn in to Mr. Brodt prior to their audition.

All wind ensemble members are required to audition for region band. Participation will count as a double major grade for them.
