Flip Folder/Lyre

All woodwind and brass students are required to have a flip folder and a lyre. You can purchase these items at any of our local music stores; Music & Arts, H&H, Fort Bend Music Center. You must have these items by July 27th. DO NOT SHOW UP TO BAND CAMP WITHOUT A FLIP FOLDER AND LYRE!!!

White T-Shirts/Rehearsal uniform

All band students must wear white-t-shirts at marching band rehearsals including band camp. It is okay if the t-shirts have logos or writing on them, as long as they are mostly white. Students must wear some type of tennis shoe for rehearsals; no sandals, slides, high heels, etc. NO CROCS!!! It is recommended that students wear basketball style shorts for rehearsal.

Hot Weather Uniform

We wear hot weather uniforms for football games and performances when the temperature is extreme, usually the first 2-4 games of the year. We also wear hot weather uniforms for pep rallies, after performances at contest, etc..

Leadership Camp

Thursday, June 4th, 2pm-6pm(Wear Maroon Member Shirt)

Friday, June 5th, 9:00am-12pm(Wear Unlocked Shirt)

Location: Hopson Field House

Leadership Camp will be held on Thursday, June 4, from 2:00–6:00 PM and Friday, June 5, from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM. This FBISD district-wide camp brings together student leaders from all high schools across the district. The camp will be led by Breakdown, a company that specializes in teaching dance, movement, body awareness, and the visual fundamentals of modern marching band performance.

Unfortunately, FBISD has limited the number of students each campus may send this year. As a result, percussion and color guard leaders will not be attending Leadership Camp. However, both groups will have the opportunity to participate in their own dedicated Percussion and Color Guard Camp in July.
