You don’t want to miss our annual Winter Band Concert, the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic, Concert Band, Jazz Band One, Jazz Band Two, and Indoor Drumline will be performing. Performances count as a Major grade and participation is mandatory.

Student report time: 7:00pm in the band hall.

Student Dress: The theme is ugly Holiday Sweaters. Students are encouraged to wear fun and silly Holiday sweaters, however this is not required. Students may dress in any formal attire they wish. No jeans, no tennis shoes, no t-shirts. School dress code will be enforced.

Jazz Band Uniform: Jazz Band members will wear all black with a long sleeve black button up shirt and a maroon tie provided by the band program.

Holiday Dinner Fundraiser- The Band Program is serving a wonderful meal to help raise money for the band. Please support these great students and enjoy a dinner with us! Dinner will be served 5:30pm-7:00pm

• Menu- Brisket and Turkey, Green Beans, Potato Salad, Rolls, desserts, drinks.

• Cost is $15 for pre-sale tickets, or $20 at the door

• Turn money into band hall safe or pay online.

• Meal Time 5:30pm-7:00pm

Rehearsal Schedule

Now that Marching season has concluded the Band program is starting up all of our other groups and ensembles. Instead of everyone having the same schedule all the time, there are 8 different performing groups that all have different schedules. As usual, you can see all rehearsals and performances on the calendar.

Our basic rehearsal schedule is listed below. However, it changes a bit form week to week depending on holidays and other events.

Members are EXPECTED to be at every single rehearsal! Please do not miss any rehearsal for any reason. We understand emergencies come up, but students should not be missing for any other reason. All rehearsals count as a Double Daily Grade.

Wind Ensemble- Rehearsal every Thursday, 3pm-5pm

Symphonic Band- Rehearsal every Wednesday, 4pm-5pm

Concert Band- Rehearsal every Wednesday, 3pm-4pm

Jazz Band 1- Rehearsal every Monday, 3pm-4pm

Jazz Band 2- Rehearsal every Monday, 4pm-5pm

Symphony Orchestra- Rehearsal every Tuesday, 3pm-5pm

Indoor Drumline- Rehearsals every Mon 5-8, Thur 5-8, & Fri 3-5

Winterguard- Rehearsals every Mon 3-5, Tues 3-6, & Thur 3-5

Band Pictures 25-26

We will be taking individual band pictures during class on Friday, November 14th. Students will put on their band uniform and take a picture with their instrument. The order form is below and I will also pass out an already printed form in class to all students.

Students need to have their order form already filled out and their payment in hand to give to the TexasGroupPhoto Representative on the day of the pictures.

Below is a link to our online order form.  Its very easy, parents do not have to create and account.  Its just like the paper form, but it allows for payment via credit card, debit, Apple pay, and Google pay.  It also provides the parent with a digital receipt via email.
