Indoor Percussion / Winterguard Fundraiser

Donor Instructions: How to Donate

1 Choose a participating Indoor Percussion or Winterguard student to support.

2 Select an available date on the student’s calendar. Each date may only be sponsored once.

3 Choose your donation amount. Many donors give the dollar amount of the date, but any amount is

appreciated.

4 Submit your donation by scanning the QR code (Zelle) or giving cash/check in an envelope to the

student.

5 Include the student’s name so your donation is credited correctly.

6 Choose whether your name is listed on the calendar or remain anonymous.

Once your donation is received, the selected date will be marked as sponsored.

Thank you for supporting our band program — your generosity makes a difference!


Student Instructions: How to Participate

1 Download your calendar from the Kempner Band website or Remind and save it to your device.

2 Post your calendar on social media and ask family, friends, and supporters to sponsor a date. Each

date may only be claimed once.

3 Check that a date is available before accepting a donation.

4 Write the donor’s name on the selected date (or “Anonymous,” if requested).

5 Have donors submit payment via QR code (Zelle), cash, or check, and ensure your name is

included.

6 Update your calendar after every donation and repost it using Canva, Snapchat, or another

image-editing app.

7 Thank your donors for supporting the program.

Holiday Dinner Fundraiser

Tuesday, December 16th

5:30pm-7:00pm, KHS Commons

Holiday Dinner Fundraiser- The Band Program is serving a wonderful meal to help raise money for the band. Please support these great students and enjoy a dinner with us! Dinner will be served 5:30pm-7:00pm. It really helps out our band program when you support fundraisers like this one.

  • Menu- BBQ, Chips, desserts, drinks.

  • Cost is $15 for pre-sale tickets, or $20 at the door

  • Turn money into band hall safe or pay online.

  • Meal Time 5:30pm-7:00pm

We are need of volunteers for the meal, sign-up below.

Winter Band Concert 25-26

Tuesday, December 16th

7:30pm KHS Auditorium

Program

You don’t want to miss our annual Winter Band Concert, the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic, Concert Band, Jazz Band One, Jazz Band Two, and Indoor Drumline will be performing. Performances count as a Major grade and participation is mandatory.

Student report time: 7:00pm in the band hall.

Student Dress: The theme is ugly Holiday Sweaters. Students are encouraged to wear fun and silly Holiday sweaters, however this is not required. Students may dress in any formal attire they wish. No jeans, no tennis shoes, no t-shirts. School dress code will be enforced.

Jazz Band Uniform: Jazz Band members will wear all black with a long sleeve black button up shirt and a maroon tie provided by the band program.
