5.8.16 Update
Dear Students, Families, and Supporters,
We hope everyone had a great mother’s day today and a restful weekend. I want to thank the booster club and our amazing banquet committee for putting together an amazing end of the year banquet experience for our students and supporters! We are very proud of all of our seniors of the class of 2016 and look forward to next year with our wonderful students and families. This week, we will host our instructional leadership interviews and auditions for section leader and sergeant candidates. The Wind Ensemble will also be taking a trip to Clear Falls High School to perform a concert in their wonderful facilities and capture a wonderful recording in a series of recordings that will be compiled for our 2016 I.H. Kempner Band CD!

INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP AUDITIONS
Students who are auditioning for section leader and sergeant positions in next year’s marching band season will have an interview and an audition this week. Each student will have an interview time slot on either Tuesday or Wednesday. Be sure to dress professionally for this interview. Auditions will take place on Thursday and jobs will be assigned and posted on Friday for those results. We are so fortunate to have so many qualified and wonderful student applicants for these leadership positions and we wish the candidates the best of luck during this process!
