Band Lock-in!

Parents and Students,

Good morning!

We are have an end-of-band-camp celebration this Friday August 11th from 9 pm to 1 am! This is a time for our students to be rewarded for their attendance, attitude, and effort throughout the band camp season!

Students are encouraged to bring gaming consoles, games, sports equipment, etc. for the evening. We ask that the students also provide the following:

Woodwinds: Sweet snacks

Brass: Salty/savory snacks

Percussion: Drinks

Color Guard: Cups, plates, napkins

Chaperones

KHS Color Guard Performance!

Parents and Students of the I.H. Kempner High School Color Guard,

Good afternoon!

I wanted to bring to your attention a special event that our color guard has been invited to. Next week, our district will be hosting a Convocation for the teachers and staff of FBISD. At this event, our guard will be performing a routine in a massive color guard. We are very excited to participate!

There is a rehearsal on August 15th, and the performance on August 16th. Below are the itineraries. All we need from parents is to get their child to KHS by the specific call time. We will provide the rest of the transportation!

Tuesday, August 15th

3:00 pm - Call time

3:30 pm - Depart for Smart Financial Centre

4:00 pm - Rehearsal begins

5:45 pm - Rehearsal ends

6:00 pm - Depart for Kempner High School

6:15 pm - Arrive at Kempner High School

6:30 pm - Dismiss

Wednesday, August 16th

7:00 am - Call Time

7:15 am - Depart for Wheeler Fieldhouse

7:30 am - Arrive at Wheeler Fieldhouse

7:45 am - Eat

8:00 am - Depart for Smart Financial Centre

8:30 am - Arrive at Smart Financial Centre

9:30 am - Performance

10:00 am - Depart for Wheeler Fieldhouse

10:30 am - Arrive at Wheeler Fieldhouse

10:45 am - Depart for KHS

11:00 am - Arrive at KHS

11:15 am - Dismiss
