We have a band trailer!!! Our students will be filled with pride when we travel to football games and marching contest with the best looking trailer in the lot! Thank you to our wonderful booster club and board members who put in a tremendous amount of effort and energy to make this a reality. Please welcome Mr. Erick Duenas to Kempner as the new assistant band director!!!
Mr. Duenas has a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Houston. He is a trumpet player and was the lead trumpet player for the UofH Jazz Orchestra for three years. Mr. Duanas was All-State, All-Area, and All-Region as a trumpet player in High School.
Mr. Duenas has a wide background as a professional trumpet player and has played with many high profile artists such as Wayne Bergeron, Eric Marienthal, Elvis Crespo, and many more.
Mr. Duenas is a very passionate teacher and will bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the Kempner Band Program.
