Transportation

This year, due to Covid-19 Restrictions, band students are required to provide their own transportation to and from football games. Students will be dropped off and picked up on the South entrance on the Home side of the stadium(see map below). There is parking available in the Home side parking lot. Parents will pick up students at the conclusion of the game from the same entrance, approximately 9:30pm. 

Equipment

All instruments and equipment will be taken to and from the stadium by the students. You are responsible for bringing all of your needed items. The only exception is Sousaphones and Front Ensemble equipment, we will bring those items.

Physicals/Medical History

Physicals

Only incoming freshmen and students new to your program are required to have a physical this year. Parents will submit the UIL – Physical Examination form to the band directors with the doctor’s signature. Parents need to set up an appointment with their child’s doctor To complete the UIL physical. Make sure to get a copy of the UIL – Physical Examination form from your doctor once this is completed so you can give to the band directors.

Medical History

ALL BAND STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE THIS PROCESS!!!

The UIL – Medical History form should be completed by parents online through the Rank One portal accessible from the Athletics website; Rank-one. Band parents only need to complete the PPE – Medical History form on Rank-one; they do not need to complete the other online Athletics forms. All Band students must submit the PPE – Medical History form prior to face-to-face participation in rehearsals/practices.

Daily COVID Screening

Band parents must complete the screening every day before they arrive to rehearsal!!

All students will be asked to track their symptoms in Skyward using a wellness survey in order for data to be compiled in a central location. I have attached job aids for the Wellness Survey both by PC from home or by the Skyward phone app
