FBISD Band Night is one of our favorite events of the year for students and the community. Every band in FBISD will be performing and every middle school band in the district will be in attendance. It is also a free event to the community.

Band Night Meal

2 slices of Cheese/Pepperoni Pizza, Soda. All students will be provided with a meal for band night. Contest meals are paid for by band fees.

Dress: Shadows of Egypt Costume: Black athletic shorts, member shirt, will be worn underneath, band shoes , black ankle socks. NO JEWELRY. Long Hair needs to be up and neat(Ponytail, single braid, double braid, or show bun).

4:30 pm - Eat, Change, Pack, Load(pizza)
5:30 pm - Inspection
5:45 pm - Meeting
6:00 pm - Depart
7:00 pm - Arrive at Hall Stadium

Homecoming Game

We will be sitting on the home side of Hall Stadium.

Tickets- You can purchase tickets online. Click the tickets link to purchase now.

Meal-Breakfast tacos, donuts, waters. This meal is only for students who purchased the game-day meal plan.

US Bands Contest Saturday, Oct 2nd

Prelim Performance: 12:00pm

The superintendent of Spring ISD canceled the Spring contest so we are now going to the US Bands contest in Ganado. Please see a full schedule for the day below. Students will need to bring money($$$) for lunch.

Directions to Indian Stadium

From Houston area Continue to I-69/Southwest Fwy 8 min (2.4 mi) Follow I-69/Southwest Fwy and US-59 S to Feeder Rd in Ganado. Take the exit toward TX-172/F.M.-710/Ganado from US-59 S 1 hr 18 min (88.1 mi) Take N 3rd St to W Devers Ave 4 min (1.1 mi)

Tickets

If you purchased tickets for the Spring contest already, they will be refunded. Please come out and support our students!!! Tickets for the Ganado contest are $13. There is no finals, so it’s just one ticket for the day. Purchase Tickets by clicking the link. Chaperones and Pit Crew will receive a badge and do not need to pay the ticket price.

Parking

Spectators will park in the gravel lot near the stadium. Buses and trucks will park in the field lot behind the home stands. Please follow the directions of parking staff as you enter the campus. There is no charge for parking.

Meals

We will provide breakfast(Donuts & Juice) at 7:30am and we will provide snacks and Gatorades after our performance at 12:00pm for all students. Students need to bring money for lunch. We will stop for lunch at First Colony Mall. Students may also purchase food and snacks from the concessions at the stadium during the awards time at 12:45pm.

Bad Weather Plan

We will delay if the weather is manageable, however if it weather gets too bad and conditions dictate we can't be in the Stadium we will do a standstill in the GYM with Clinics to follow after awards.

Game 4, Saturday September 25th

Barnett Stadium- 6800 Fairway | Houston, Texas 77087


We have our 4th Football Game this Saturday, September 25th at Barnett Stadium at 6pm against Milby High School. A full itinerary for Saturday is listed below. Students need to be on campus ready to rehearse by 1pm on Saturday. I hope that many of you can make it out to support our students. We will be sitting on the visitor side of Barnett Stadium and will perform to the Visitor side at halftime.

Emergency Contact Information- All students must turn this in or they will not be allowed to travel with us and can’t go to the game. I passed a physical copy of this to the students today for them to return, or you can email it to me.

Equipment Needed: Instrument, flip folder with music, liar, water jug(pre-filled with ice-water). 

Meals- If you paid for the meal plan, the meal this Saturday is Raising Cains- Chicken stips, potato chips, drink. If you did not purchase the meal plan, you may bring a sack lunch to eat during ECPL time. Students must have a written note from a parent to leave campus to eat during ECPL. ECPL stands for Eat Change Pack Load.

The band will ride busses to and from the game. We have assigned seats on the busses and check attendance every time we load and unload. Students are not allowed to leave the game early, or ride home with a parent. Please contact Mr. Brodt if you have any questions.

Dismissal- When we arrive back to school, we will not dismiss any students until all equipment has been put away and checked.
