UIL Region Marching Band Contest, Tuesday, October 18th

On Tuesday, October 18th we are performing for the UIL Region Marching Band Contest at Mercer Stadium. For this UIL style contest the marching band will be evaluated by 3 judges and given ratings. There are not placements or rankings. Our goal is to make straight 1’s from all judges. We must earn division ratings in order to advance to the UIL Area Contest.
Dress: Full Uniform: Students need to wear LONG BLACK SOCKS with the full uniform. Students will wear their member shirt underneath the uniform. They will also wear black compression shorts or black basketball shorts underneath. Students with long hair will have to pull their hair into a “show bun” when in uniform. Students are not permitted to wear jewelry when in uniform. Students are not permitted to have nail polish on when in uniform. Students are not permitted to eat when in uniform.
CLEAR BAG POLICY - Note FBISD has implemented a clear bag policy for all games at District sports facilities including Hall Stadium, Hopson Field House, Mercer Stadium, Wheeler Field House, Cook Natatorium, and Aquatic Practice Facility.
The following types of bags are permitted:
Clear, plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags that do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” in size
Clear, plastic, one-gallon, re-sealable, Ziploc-style bags
Clutch bags approximately the size of a hand (4½” x 6½” or smaller)
Performance Time 4:35pm
Tickets are $4.00 TICKET PRICE FOR ALL DAY ACCESS and can be purchased ONLINE
Children 5 and under are free.!!!

**Tickets are transferable, but you must still present confirmation of original purchase at check in to let ushers know of transfer**
Processing/Service Fees:
Processing fee is already included in price & service fees will be added at checkout (Please note you have an option to purchase through ACH or Credit Card. ACH has a lower service fee than Credit Card)
Refund/Cancellation Policy:
**ALL SALES ARE FINAL, NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED IF CONTEST IS DELAYED OR CANCELLED FOR ANY REASON.**
If rained out there will be a make up date on October 20. Ticket will be transferable to new date.
Meals- The band boosters will provide Pizza and drinks.

11:20 pm - Report to the Band Hall(5th period)
11:30 pm - Rehearse at KHS Stadium
1:00 pm - Eat Change Pack Load
2:00 pm - Inspection
2:15 pm - Meeting
2:30 pm - Depart KHS
2:45 pm - Arrive at Mercer
3:30 pm - Warm-up
4:35 pm - PERFORMANCE
5:00 pm - Depart Mercer
5:30pm - Arrive at KHS
6:00 pm - Cake and Movie Time
7:00 pm - Dismiss
