We have our 10th Football Game this Saturday, November 9th at Mercer Stadium Stadium at 6:00pm against Friendswood High School. We will sit on the Home side and perform to the Home side at Half Time. A full itinerary for Saturday is listed below.  I hope that many of you can make it out to support our students.

Senior Night: We will recognize Seniors before the game at 5:00pm. Please check the list of Seniors and verify information is correct. Seniors need to dress in formal attire and will be escorted by their parents and/or immediate family members. Please fill out this information doc for announcements. Anyone who wishes to escort their senior student who is NOT a Parent/Guardian must be approved by Mr. Brodt. Escorts will need to purchase a ticket to get into the stadium. NO PARENTS/GUARDIANS WILL BE ALLOWED TO ESCORT THEIR SENIOR WITHOUT PURCHASING A TICKET.

SENIOR PARENTS/ESCORTS NEED TO BE AT THE STADIUM BY 4:45PM TO LINE UP WITH THEIR STUDENT. CEREMONY WILL START AT 5:00PM

Senior Information: Must be completed by Thursday, Nov 7th.

Emergency Contact Information- All students must turn this in or they will not be allowed to travel with us and can’t go to the game.

Tickets- THERE WILL BE NO CASH SALES AT THE GATE. Tickets should be available on this website. Click the link; Tickets .

Dress: Full Uniform: Students will be wearing their full uniform for this performance. Maroon Member Shirt, Bibbers(uniform pants), Long Black Socks, and Black MTX Marching Shoes.. Students with long hair will have to put their hair in a double braid when in uniform. Students are not permitted to wear jewelry when in uniform. Students are not permitted to have nail polish on when in uniform. Students are not permitted to eat when in uniform.

Equipment Needed: Instrument, flip folder with music, liar, water jug(pre-filled with ice-water). 

Meals- If you paid for the meal plan, the meal is Chick-Fil-A – Chick-Fil-A sandwich, chips, cookie and drink. If you did not purchase the meal plan, you may bring a sack lunch to eat during ECPL time. Students must have a written note from a parent to leave campus to eat during ECPL. ECPL stands for Eat Change Pack Load.

Dismissal- When we arrive back to school, we will not dismiss any students until all equipment has been put away and checked.

CLEAR BAG POLICY - Note FBISD has implemented a clear bag policy for all games at District sports facilities including Hall Stadium, Hopson Field House, Mercer Stadium, Wheeler Field House, Cook Natatorium, and Aquatic Practice Facility.

The following types of bags are permitted:

  • Clear, plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags that do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” in size

  • Clear, plastic, one-gallon, re-sealable, Ziploc-style bags

  • Clutch bags approximately the size of a hand (4½” x 6½” or smaller)

7:00 pm - Halftime performance!
9:00 pm - Game ends
9:15 pm - Depart for KHS
9:30 pm - Arrive at KHS
9:45 pm - Dismiss

Region Band Auditions 24-25

Please click the links and check that you are signed up on the correct audition on the correct instrument. Let me know immediately if changes need to be made.

Students must pay $20 for region auditions. Please pay online or bring cash/check and deposit in the band hall safe.

Freshman audition fee is $15.

Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from the audition location.

All students must fill out a contract and turn in to Mr. Brodt prior to their audition.

All wind ensemble members are required to audition for region band. Participation will count as a double major grade for them.

We will sit on the Visitor side and perform to the Home side at Half Time. A full itinerary for Saturday is listed below.  I hope that many of you can make it out to support our students.

Dress: Costumes: This is our annual Costume game. Students are permitted to wear any costume they wish. Costumes are subject to director discretion. Any costume that is inappropriate or too revealing will not be permitted and student will have to wear their hot weather uniform instead. Students must be able to play their instrument and perform the halftime show in costume.
