HOT WEATHER UNIFORM
This Thursday's game will be our last in hot weather uniform! Be sure to look out for a full uniform video this week explaining the things needed for full uniform as we go into next week! 

FRIENDS AND FAMILY RUN THROUGH
On Friday, September 16th, we will be having our first rehearsal and run through in our band uniforms! It is necessary for us to practice with uniforms so the students are used to performing in them and for parents and families to get a look at our students before the rest of the community does! This will be a perfect time to come if you missed our parent preview, watch the students rehearse/perform and get pictures with students in their uniforms. 

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE
The band staff has been in talks with administration concerning 6 Thursday night football games and the challenges that come with that weekly schedule. One of the challenges is the way it affects the students ability to prepare for school assignments due on
Friday as well as getting any appointments done on days after school since there is marching rehearsal. Students still have time to go to tutorials, however it is difficult to be able to have the time in the afternoon to do major projects or papers as well that may be due on Fridays. In talking with administration we are working to find a possible alternative schedule that will better serve our students throughout this season. A communication will be sent this week regarding schedule after our last meetings with administration. 

VOLUNTEER! 
I wanted to take a moment and thank all of those who have signed up to volunteer for us on game days so far! I think you will agree it has been a blast and we can't do it without you. As we move into the 3rd week, we will be adding equipment with the front ensemble that is rather heavy and could use a little extra muscle to move to the field. If you are able to come and be part of our "pit crew" please email myself or a band staff member!
