UIL Region Marching Contest 2024

On Saturday, October 19th we are performing for the UIL Region Marching Band Contest at Hall Stadium in FBISD. This is a UIL ratings contest. We will perform at 10:45pm and will be evaluated by 3 judges who rate us with Division ratings of 1 through 5. If the band receives 1s from the judges we will receive a UIL Marching Trophy and advance to the AREA contest on Oct 28th.
Dress: Full Uniform: Students need to wear LONG BLACK SOCKS with the full uniform. Students will wear their member shirt underneath the uniform. They will also wear black compression shorts or black basketball shorts underneath. Students with long hair will have to pull their hair into a “2 Braids” when in uniform. Students are not permitted to wear jewelry when in uniform. Students are not permitted to have nail polish on when in uniform. Students are not permitted to eat when in uniform.

Meals- The band boosters will provide Breakfast Tacos, Donuts, & Juice at 7:15am. They will also provide Ice Cream after our performance.

6:00 am - Arrive at KHS
6:15 am - Rehearse
7:00 am - Eat(Breakfast Tacos), Change, Pack, Load
7:40am - Inspection
7:50 am - Meeting
8:00 am - Depart
8:45 am - Arrive at Hall Stadium
9:45 am - Warm-Up
10:45 am - Performance
11:45 am - Depart for KHS
12:15 pm - Arrive at KHS
12:30 pm - Ice Cream in the Band Hall
1:00 pm - Dismiss
