Concert Uniforms: We have special performance clothing that is owned and maintained by Kempner High School through the annual school district budget, but there are additional items that the student is responsible for providing. These uniforms are expensive and they must last for another 7 years. Take care of them! We will wear the Concert Uniform for all Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and Full Orchestra performances this semester.

Ladies will be fitted in a black concert dress supplied by KHS, but they will need to supply black closed toe shoes.

Gentleman will be fitted in tuxedo jackets and pants supplied by KHS, but they will need to supply their own white tux shirt and black bow tie, as well as black socks and black dress shoes (you may wear your marching shoes) . A black cummerbund is optional but not required.

Please have theses items by the end of Spring Break!

Other Considerations when in Concert Uniform;

  • No jewelry

  • No wild hair colors

  • No eating while in uniform

Uniform Links

As we gear up for an exciting season with our indoor percussion ensemble, I wanted to provide you with important details regarding the uniform costs for the upcoming performances. Each member of the indoor percussion section is required to contribute $57 for their performance top which was ordered by the band program. Additionally, it is important to note that the band program will not be providing pants and shoes for the ensemble. Instead, each member is responsible for purchasing these items individually. The designated pants and shoes can be found in the links below. You can buy either pair of the Mens or Womens, depending on your size and preference. Please make sure to acquire these items promptly to ensure that our ensemble maintains a unified and polished look. We will need the shoes and pants for our competition on February 3rd. Click the links above and purchase them yourselves.
