1st Football Game

Kempner Band Family,

We have our 1st Football Game this Saturday, September 16th at Mercer Stadium at 6pm against Hastings High School. Report time is 2pm at the Band Hall. I hope that many of you can make it out to support our students. This will be our first performance of this year's show "Samurai". An itinerary for Saturday is listed below. 

When we arrive back to school, we will not dismiss any students until all equipment has been put away and checked.

Dress: Khaki shorts, member shirt, band shoes or athletic shoes, black ankle socks. NO JEWELRY. Long Hair needs to be up and neat. 

Equipment Needed: Instrument, flip folder with music, liar, water jug. 

Meal: There will not be a meal provided since this game is on a Saturday. Please eat a hardy lunch before arriving at Kempner. A small snack will be provided for you. 

2:00pm - Rehearsal begins

3:00pm - Eat Change Pack Load

4:00pm - Inspection

4:15pm - Meeting and snack

4:30pm - Depart for Mercer

5:00pm - Arrive at Mercer stadium, unload

6:00pm - Kick-off

7:00pm - Halftime performance

8:30pm - Game ends

9:00pm - Depart for KHS

9:30pm - Arrive at KHS

10:00pm - Dismiss
