Dear Students, Families, and Supporters,
It is Pre-UIL week! Please ensure that you look carefully as these next 2 weeks will be an altered schedule as UIL activities approach. I also wanted to take the opportunity to congratulate the Varsity WinterGuard on a wonderful performance Saturday at the TCGC Circuit Championships in College Station on the campus of Texas A&M. It was a powerful way to end the WinterGuard season for our color guard program and we are all very proud!

3-4:30: Both Concert Band and Wind Ensemble will have rehearsals due to Pre-UIL Tuesday as discussed last week in classes
4:45-6:15: Symphonic Band full rehearsal in preparation for Pre-UIL on Tuesday

WIND ENSEMBLE PASSOFFS
This week in lieu of doing large sectionals with Wind Ensemble members, we will be doing a series of 15 minute small group passoffs. I will be posting the groups along with dates and times momentarily to our website under the Ensembles > Indoor Performing Ensembles tab in the website. http://kempnerband.org/resources-1/
BANQUET TICKET SALES
Banquet tickets are still on sale through the band office via sign up form. The price for these tickets are now $25 a piece for what will be a night to remember! They are also on sale via the website store. There is a small added convenience charge per ticket but all major cards and debit cards are accepted. The website also has a very mobile friendly platform for smart phone browsers and you will receive and immediate receipt for your purchase! http://kempnerband.org/store/
BOOSTER BOARD NOMINATIONS
Please note that we will be taking nominations for Booster Board Positions on our website at http://kempnerband.org/nominations/. Please submit the names of individuals you wish to nominate for next year's executive board! Only nominate one person per position (as per our bylaws) and a full description of each position can be found in our booster club by-laws on our website. http://kempnerband.org/nominations/

1:30 PM - Load buses and depart for Dulles High School
2:00 PM - Arrive at Dulles High School | Unload buses and truck
2:30 PM - Report to Dulles High School cafeteria, stack cases, sit together
2:40 PM - Snack time
3:25 PM - Concert Band warm-up
4:00 PM - Concert Band performance on stage
4:35 PM - Concert Band sightreading
4:45 PM - Concert Band reports to cafeteria to disassemble
