Lamar Marching Contest

The Lamar Marching Contest is this Saturday, October 7th at Lamar Traylor Stadium:

Admission is $5 for adults $3 for students

Chaperones and pit crew will recieve a wrist band to enter for FREE

10:00 am - Rehearsal

11:15 am - Eat Change Pack Load

12:15 pm - Inspection

12:30 pm - Meeting

12:45 pm - Depart

1:30 pm - Arrive at Lamar Traylor Stadium

2:35 pm - Warm-up begins

3:15 pm - Performance

4:30 pm - Depart for KHS

5:15 pm - Arrive at KHS

5:45 pm - Dismiss

Game 3

We have our 3rd football game this Thursday, September 28th, at 6:30pm at Hall Stadium against Ridge Point HS. We will be on the visitors side. Please bring a sack lunch if you did not purchase the meal plan. If you plan to leave campus during ECPL, please provide a signed letter from your parent or guardian giving permission to do so. 

Dress: Full Band Uniform, member shirt underneath, long black socks, NO JEWELRY

2:45 pm - School ends

3:00 pm - Rehearsal begins

3:30 pm - ECPL

4:30 pm - Inspection

4:45 pm - Meeting

5:00 pm - Depart for Hall Stadium

5:30 pm - Arrive at Hall Stadium

6:30 pm - Game Starts

7:30 pm - Halftime performance

9:00 pm - Game ends

9:30 pm - Depart for KHS

10:00 pm - Arrive at KHS

10:30 pm - Dissmis

Game 2

Kempner Band Family,

We have our 2nd football game this Thursday, September 21st, at 6:30pm at Katy Legacy Stadium against Mayde Creek HS. The boosters will be serving a meal ONLY for students who purchased the meal plan. If you did not purchase the meal plan, please make arrangements to eat during the ECPL time.Feel free to bring a sack lunch. If you are planning on leaving campus to eat, I must have a note from a parent or guardian giving permission to do so. 

This will be the first time we have worn full band uniforms. Students may not wear jewelry with the uniform. Long hair must be worn in a bun and fit in the Shako(Hat). 

Dress: Full band Uniform, marching shoes, member shirt underneath, LONG BLACK SOCKS 

Equipment Needed: Instrument, flip folder with music, lyre, water jug

4:14pm - Meeting

4:30pm - Depart for Legacy Stadium

5:30pm - Arrive at Legacy Stadium

6:30pm - Kick-Off

7:30pm - Halftime Performance

9:00pm - Game ends
